India fast bowler Harshit Rana arrived at Gautam Gambhir's dinner party in a swanky BMW. The Delhi-based player walked out of his car in style and attended the team event hosted by the head coach ahead of India's second and final Test match against the West Indies.
India are playing Windies at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi in the second Test match of the series. The Test match starts on October 10 and will be India's final red-ball assignment before the two-match series against South Africa in November.

Harshit Rana has often been called Gautam Gambhir’s favourite cricketer for his meteoric rise in the Indian team. Since making his debut after the Indian Premier League 2024, Rana has played in all formats of the game.
Former India cricketer Kris Srikkanth poked fun at Rana for his selection for the white-ball tour of Australia, calling him the first name in the teamsheet after captain Shubman Gill.
The rest of the Indian team, who are not local to Delhi, arrived at Gautam Gambhir's residence in the team bus. Board of Control for Cricket in India vice-president Rajeev Shukla was present at the dinner as well.

The Indian cricket team is once again expected to dominate in the second Test match in Delhi. The pitch at the Arun Jaitley Stadium is expected to be friendly for batters. This is the first Test match being hosted in New Delhi since the 2023 game against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
