Reports surfaced alleging that the actor pressured individuals to remove online videos related to his son. When questioned by reporters, Vijay Sethupathi offered a clarification: “If something like that happened, it might have been done unknowingly or by someone else. I sincerely apologize if anyone was hurt or misunderstood the intention.”

'Phoenix' received a significant boost when superstar Thalapathy Vijay watched the film privately and shared his feedback with the team. Anal Arasu, the director and stunt choreographer, shared a photo with Vijay and Surya on social media, stating, “Bloody sweet!
