While many Bollywood figures shield their children from the media, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh have adopted a more relaxed approach with their sons, Riaan and Rahyl. The children are often seen interacting with photographers during public appearances.
In a recent interview, Riteish Deshmukh discussed his approach to handling the paparazzi around his children. He noted that his sons are active in sports and frequently outdoors, leading to regular encounters with photographers capturing their moments.
Riteish emphasizes the importance of teaching his children how to navigate this attention without developing a sense of entitlement.
Deshmukh believes that interacting with the media provides his children with valuable lessons in humility. He instills in them the understanding that being photographed is a privilege.
He shares his advice to his sons: "Getting clicked is an honour. When the paparazzi ask for pictures, you thank them for clicking and move on."
He also acknowledged that every parent has the right to choose what is best for their children: “Just because one person does something doesn’t mean others have to do the same. I think parents know what’s best for their children. If people feel they don’t want their kids to be in the media, it should be respected,” he stated.
Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, alongside a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Shreyas Talpade, and Johny Lever.
