Riding the wave of successful Ashes ticket sales, the demand for the limited-overs matches is soaring. Over 90,000 tickets have been sold across eight games within two weeks of going on sale to the public.

Public ticket allocations for the SCG ODI and the Manuka Oval T20I in Canberra have already sold out, a full four months ahead of the scheduled matches, demonstrating the immense anticipation for this series. Tickets for the MCG T20I and Gabba T20I are also being snapped up at a rapid pace.

Cricket Australia reports that Indian fan groups are a major driver of this surge in demand. To date, over 16% of all tickets have been purchased by Indian supporters' clubs. The Bharat Army leads the way, acquiring more than 2,400 tickets, while Fans India has secured over 1,400.

Amidst these organized efforts, individual community members are also contributing to the ticket frenzy. Amit Goyal from Brissy Baniyas, an Aggarwal community group, has purchased 880 tickets for the Gabba T20I, making him the largest single-match buyer. Other groups like the Indian Community of Gold Coast and Pakka Local have also secured over 500 tickets each for games at the Gold Coast and MCG.

Joel Morrison, Cricket Australia’s Executive General Manager of Events & Operations, shared his enthusiasm: "Selling out the public ticket allocation for the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval T20I four months before the series begins demonstrates the incredible interest in the upcoming season among cricket fans."

He added, "We are delighted to see continued strong engagement from the Indian diaspora following a record-breaking Border Gavaskar series last summer. The expected strong turnout of Australian and Indian fans guarantees a fantastic atmosphere at every match. There is immense interest in what promises to be our biggest ever summer of cricket, so we urge fans to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.”
